DR MOHD TAJUDDIN MOHD RASDI | 01 Jun 2019 SEBAGAI seorang Melayu yang telah berjaya dalam pelajaran dan kerjaya, saya ingin menjawab bahawa tiada masalah dari sudut Melayu menjawab cabaran meritokrasi di Malaysia atau di mana-mana jua dalam dunia ini. Tetapi malangnya, saya terpaksa menjawab persoalan tersebut di atas dengan mengatakan dalam keadaan sekarang di Malaysia bahawa orang Melayu masih tidak berupaya menyahut cabaran meritokrasi dalam apa perkara sekalipun terutamanya dalam kemasukan ke universiti dan ke dalam profesion. Saya menyajikan tiga sebab kenapa saya berpendapat demikian. Sebab pertama ialah tentang pendidikan Islam yang sempit dan tidak progresif .
